What are your services like?

We hope you are planning to visit during one of our upcoming services. If so, you might like to know a little something about us first.

We Are Gospel Centered

Everything we do revolves around sharing the good news of the Gospel. That is, that Jesus Christ gave his life to pay for the sin of each and every person. His sacrifice made a way for us to live forever in a wonderful place that the Bible calls Heaven. Our services, our Sunday school classes, our music, and every other activity we do, are meant to create opportunities to share the Gospel with everyone we meet. We also send missionaries all over the world to share the Gospel with a lost and dying world.

We Are Bible Based

Simply put, we believe that the Bible is our ultimate authority, and through it, God has given us instruction on how to live a joyful and successful Christian life. We believe the King James Bible is the inspired, perfect Word of God.

We Are Traditional

We consider our services to traditional, in that, we sing hymns, we have a choir, we preach from the Bible, we pray, and we have an invitation at the end of each service. A typical service lasts about an hour, but many stick around after every service to enjoy a time of fellowship.

We are a friendly church family that would love to welcome you to church this Sunday.

Our Pastors

Pastor Mark Wooley

I was raised in a Christian home all my life, received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1978.  Married my high school sweetheart Mary Ann in 1979.

Surrender to the call of full time ministry in 1985, and entered Sauk Trail Baptist Institute in Richton Park IL the fall of 1985 and graduated in 1989.

Went out with another couple to Littleton CO after graduation to help plant a new church and be the Youth Pastor.

In 1992 the Lord called me to be a Pastor.  We answered the call to be the Pastor of New Life Baptist Church in Brooklyn IN where we stayed for 28 years.

I am on the advisory board for Beacon International Baptist Missions in Johnson City TN since 2009.

In 2020 the Lord led us to be the Pastor of Shooting Park Road Baptist Church. 

It has been a great blessing to be the Pastor SPRBC.  We are seeing the Lord work in a great way.  

Our goal has always been to impact people for the Lord Jesus Christ.

I look forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do through SPRBC in the future.
